Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the Gold Loan business, having strong knowledge of the end-to-end gold loan process, including customer onboarding, gold valuation, loan processing, disbursement, documentation, and loan closure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete end-to-end gold loan process, from customer onboarding to loan disbursement and closure.

Handle gold purity testing, valuation, weight assessment, and verification as per company policies.

Ensure accurate loan eligibility assessment and processing based on gold valuation and applicable guidelines.

Manage KYC verification, customer documentation, and loan agreement execution.

Oversee loan disbursement, repayment tracking, renewals, and closure processes.

Ensure the safe custody of pledged gold and maintain accurate records and reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable RBI guidelines.

Coordinate with internal teams for operational efficiency, audits, and reporting.

Monitor overdue accounts and support recovery and follow-up activities.

Identify operational risks and ensure proper controls throughout the gold loan lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the Gold Loan industry.

Strong understanding of the complete gold loan lifecycle and operational processes.

Hands-on experience in gold appraisal, loan documentation, disbursement, and repayment/closure procedures.

Knowledge of KYC, compliance, risk management, and audit requirements.

Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and gold loan management systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in gold loan NBFCs, banks, or financial services organizations will be preferred.
