Job Description

As an Operations Manager / Assistant Manager Operations at Pharma spares Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain and production processes. Your role will involve reducing lead times, improving process efficiency, and enhancing cross-functional coordination. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: - **Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement**: - Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in order-to-delivery workflows and work towards reducing lead times. - Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies. - **Production Planning & Resource Allocation**: - Develop and manage production schedules for over 300 custom products. - Optimize the utilization of materials, machines, and skilled labor. - Prioritize orders and manage changes in requirements effectively. - **Quality Management**: - Establish and oversee quality control systems to meet ISO standards and client specifications. - Proactively reduce defects through training and data-driven problem-solving. - **Supply Chain & Inventory Management**: - Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely availability of raw materials. - Implement ERP/MRP systems for efficient material flow and cost management. - **Team Leadership & Development**: - Build, train, and manage teams across various departments. - Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and knowledge enhancement. - **Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring**: - Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery, Cycle Time, First-Pass Yield, and Customer Satisfaction. - Generate MIS reports to monitor performance and support decision-making processes. In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should have: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Production) or Business (Operations / Supply Chain). - MBA (Operations / Supply Chain) is preferred. - Certifications such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, APICS CPIM, or PMP are advantageous. Essential Experience includes: - Proven success in high-mix, low-volume or custom manufacturing environments. - Strong exposure to Tally ERP/MRP systems and experience in supply chain, logistics, and vendor management. - Hands-on knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement tools. - Strong leadership skills in team training, development, and change management.
