Job Description

As an Operations BI Specialist at Medline India, you will be a key member of the team supporting Australian Operations by developing, maintaining, and enhancing BI solutions across various functions such as Warehousing, Inbound and Outbound Logistics, and MedTrans activities. Your expertise in current reporting tools will be crucial as you design and lead future developments, ensuring timely and proactive support to deliver reports and data to the Australian Operations team. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and KPI reports using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and other BI tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making. You will also design automated data extraction tools and workflows to improve data reliability and reduce manual work from various source data formats. Developing automation solutions using Power Automate, Python, and VBA to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy will be a key part of your role. Analyzing existing operational reporting and dashboards to identify gaps and inefficiencies, conducting rigorous testing and validation of new reports/tools with end users, and continuously improving existing reports and dashboards will be essential tasks. Your strong sense of accountability and ability to meet deadlines will ensure timely delivery of reports as required by the Australian Operations team. To be successful in this role, you must have 7-10 years of experience in data analysis and BI report development, with expertise in designing reports for end user analysis. Proficiency in developing and maintaining Business Intelligence dashboards and reports using Power BI is a must, while experience with MicroStrategy is a plus. Skills in data automation and scripting using Python, VBA, and Power Automate, as well as proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, will be required. You should possess advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, strong functional knowledge of Warehousing, Transportations, and supporting systems like ERP/WMS/TMS, and working knowledge of SQL Server. A Master's degree in Operations/Supply Chain Management or Engineering is preferred. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary for effective communication. Prior experience working with global or multi-site Operations networks, Microsoft Power BI certification, and Power Platform expertise are considered good-to-have qualifications. The working hours for this role are 10.30 am to 7.30 pm IST during daylight saving and 11.30 am to 8.30 pm IST during non-daylight saving periods.,
