Operational Risk Indicator Program - Manager

As an Operational Risk Indicator Program Officer at State Street, you will have the opportunity to join the Global Operational Risk Insights & Analytics team and play a crucial role in enhancing the risk monitoring capability of the organization. You will be part of a dynamic team within the Operational Risk Management department, contributing to the management, oversight, and execution of Key Risk Indicator (KRI) and Risk Appetite programs to support senior decision-making. Your responsibilities will include being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and the primary contact for enterprise-wide stakeholders in the KRI program. You will manage day-to-day operations, including gatekeeping and system management to handle risk indicators for various business units and legal entities. Additionally, you will collate and report KRIs for senior risk committees, ensuring they have the necessary insights for informed decision-making. Monitoring and ensuring the effective execution of the KRI program, overseeing performance of controls, and facilitating program implementation within the business will be key aspects of your role. You will also support the development and rollout of the operational risk appetite program. In this role, you are expected to have a risk and control mindset, with a focus on translating data into actionable insights. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience with risk indicators, system management, and reporting tools will be essential. Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI and experience in managing complex datasets will be beneficial. Collaboration with global teams to drive improvements, enhance tools, and a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting new technologies for improved risk management processes are also expected.
