Job Description

The position you will be holding is part of the Operational Risk Management Governance team within Group Functions Risk Management (GFRM). Your primary role will involve supporting activities aimed at enhancing operational risk practices to align with a specific vision. You will utilize your expertise in technology and analytics to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operational risk processes. As a Data Analyst in the Group Functions Risk Management team, you will contribute to delivering impactful end-to-end solutions that enhance operational risk activities. This role offers you the opportunity to apply your technology and analytics skills effectively. Your main responsibilities will include translating Operational Risk Management (ORM) requirements into comprehensive solutions by utilizing ORM's current applications, available reporting tools, and automation technologies. The team you will be part of focuses on implementing a streamlined and efficient ORM methodology. They maintain risk oversight over major cross-company initiatives and provide tools and education to help colleagues identify, mitigate, monitor, and report key operational risks, including new or emerging risks. The team also establishes a connection between control-related performance and incentive systems to encourage appropriate risk behaviors. Continuous efforts are made to develop operational risk management practices and data analytics within the team. As for your qualifications, you should hold a University degree in Computer Science or Engineering. You should have a proven track record in analyzing substantial volumes of data. Experience in fulfilling business requirements with technology solutions and supporting those applications/solutions is essential. Proficiency in SQL, at least one programming language (e.g., Python), and reporting/data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is required. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and experience with robotic process automation are preferred. A good grasp of enterprise risk management concepts, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively, and switch between detailed analytics and the broader picture are key. Excellent communication skills, persuasion abilities, and the capacity to build professional networks across various departments are necessary. Being a great team player, culturally sensitive, and having a passion for knowledge sharing and transferring experience within and outside the team are valued qualities. Willingness to share knowledge and experience across teams and other risk management functions is also essential.
