Operation Systems Administrator

As an experienced candidate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Server and storage architecture, installation, configuration, and performance tuning - Remote system management for both Windows and Linux systems - Routine system maintenance and troubleshooting - Load balancer configuration and tuning - System automation - Documentation and diagraming of server, network, and storage infrastructure - 24/7 on-call duties - Traveling to hosting sites for system builds and maintenance as required - Participation in incident reviews and problem management You must possess the following qualifications: - Windows Administration experience of 2-5 years - Linux Administration experience of 2-5 years - Storage and Backup management experience of 1-2 years - Experience in managing large environments including disaster recovery, multi datacenter setups, and more than 200 servers - Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, WAN, and Load balancers - Proficiency in system administration fundamentals including SAN, RAID, NFS, DNS, and Authentication - Experience in configuration and provisioning management, specifically patch management - 2-3 years of experience in Virtualization/Cloud platforms such as VMWare, Xen, or AWS Additionally, you should have expertise in at least 4 of the following areas: - LDAP/SAML/AD management - DNS management - ITIL certification/experience - Oracle Financials/MySQL system configuration experience - Capacity management - Apache/IIS/Java management - SOX/PCI management - License/inventory management If you are interested in this position, please email your resume to hr@omsguru.com.,
