Job Description

As an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager specializing in air ticketing sales for USA & Canada travel routes, your primary role will be to lead the ticketing operations team with a focus on efficiency and accountability. Your background in air ticketing sales, GDS systems, team management, and international airfares will be crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Here are the key responsibilities you will be handling: - **Team Leadership & Supervision** - Oversee and guide the ticketing operations team to ensure efficiency and accountability. - **Air Ticketing Sales Proficiency** - Demonstrate strong proficiency in air ticketing sales, including fare construction, upselling opportunities, and optimizing revenue through effective pricing strategies and product knowledge. - **Air Ticketing Management** - Manage end-to-end air ticketing processes such as issuance, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds. - **Quality & Compliance Control** - Ensure adherence to airline fare rules, GDS standards, and minimize ADM risks. - **Customer Service & Issue Resolution** - Handle escalated client issues and maintain high service standards, especially for complex USA/Canada itineraries. - **Cross-Department Coordination** - Collaborate with sales, customer support, and backend teams to maintain operational flow. - **Training & Performance Monitoring** - Monitor team KPIs, conduct regular evaluations, and provide coaching or training as required. - **Airline & Vendor Relations** - Communicate with airline partners for fare contracts, service updates, and operational support. - **Reporting & Documentation** - Maintain operational records, generate reports, and share insights with senior management. - **Regulatory & Destination Knowledge** - Stay updated on travel regulations, visa policies, and route changes relevant to USA and Canada. - **Shift & Workforce Planning** - Ensure effective staffing and team availability for night and rotational shifts. **Requirements:** - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in air ticketing. - In-depth knowledge of USA & Canada air routes and fare structures. - Proficiency in Sales and GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo). - Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. - Willingness to work in night shifts and rotational schedules. - Graduate degree preferred; certifications in travel/tourism or GDS will be an advantage. This full-time position based in Mohali, Punjab, with night shift requirements, offers benefits such as provided food and paid sick time.,
