Job Description

Role : AIX Admin

Sound Knowledge in IBM AIX.
Hands on Experience in AIX migration from AIX 5.3 to 6.1
File system management
AIX Patching
User & group Management
Server / IBM blade firmware upgrade
iBM blade chassis management
Knowledge on Oracle RAC disk configuration / Troubleshooting
GPFS clustering
Should have working knowledge in performance tuning
Good problem solving skills
Mail configuration and troubleshooting skills Linux and Aix.
Remote Printer administration and configuration in AIX .

Linux Skills

1. Strong knowledge in Redhat

2. Understanding on Redhat Upgrade v7.x

3. Certification in Linux is expected, but not mandatory.

4. Good understanding of Linux administration activities/tasks.

5. Good understanding of systems clusters-particularly Linxu OS clusters.

6. Understanding of backup products such as avamar etc.

7. Understanding of virtualization (Vmware, Hyper V)

8. Plan, and execute Linux systems deployment projects.

9. Performance tuning, monitoring tuning on Linux systems.

10. Manage capacity and performance management for Linux.

11. Review and update the HLD, LLD and other documents as needed.

12. Strong knowledge in Suse Linux administration. Preferably in Suse. If not, then any other Linux experience (Redhat etc.) is okay

13. Certification in Linux is expected, but not mandatory.

14. Good understanding of Linux administration activities/tasks.

15. Good understanding of systems clusters-particularly Linxu OS clusters.

16. Understanding of backup products such as avamar etc

WINDOWS VMWARE ADMIN:

Experience with information technology infrastructure domains such as compute server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, network devices, cabling best practices and IT service delivery principles and best practices.
Position requires an in-depth understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere/ESX, VMware View, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager, , running in enterprise environments
Troubleshooting ESX issues related to storage, network and performance issues
Manage Active Directory group, user and computer objects, the AD Schema
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network topologies
Administrative and troubleshooting basic knowledge of Intel based micro processing
Experience in Data Center Operations, IT Operations
Windows 2016/2019 Server support and troubleshooting
Load and deploy new servers
Create and maintain Windows server images
Work with engineers and project leads to implement new systems, policies, standards and practices
Document server administration processes and procedures
Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels
On call support is required for troubleshooting or pre-planned maintenance on production systems
Understand Enterprise Operations Process, ITIL v.2
At least seven (5) years of in-depth troubleshooting & support skills and experience with Windows Server 2008
Direct Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, auditing, evidence capture and storage activities
