Openshift Engineer

Job Description

As an Openshift Engineer at Bright Vision Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Openshift containerization platforms for our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient application deployments and provide support for troubleshooting and performance optimization. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain Openshift containerization platforms Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and ensure proper deployment and scaling Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated application deployments Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Openshift platform and applications running on it Monitor and optimize performance of the Openshift environment Implement security best practices for containerized applications Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in containerization and orchestration technologies Requirements: Proven experience as an Openshift Engineer or similar role Strong understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Openshift and Kubernetes Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Linux-based systems Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python Knowledge of networking and security concepts related to containerized environments Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Openshift or Kubernetes certifications Experience with containerized application architectures, microservices, and serverless computing
