OpenShift Admin

As an OpenShift Admin with Kubernetes, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Performing administration and operations of overall Red Hat OpenShift solutions for customers, including development of solution designs, implementation plans, and documentation. - Demonstrating strong knowledge and experience in Jenkins, OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Nexus. - Creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. - Working with Docker containerization, Kubernetes, Docker Helm, Open Shift, and EKS, including the ability to create Docker Files for different environments and resources. - Administering source code repositories like GitHub/GitLab and artifact/packages/images management tools such as Nexus/JFrog. - Developing IT automation products and service offerings, selecting the best methods for implementation, and creating automated tests to validate functionality. - Implementing orchestration automation and tooling solutions to ensure consistent processes and reduce defects. - Analyzing platform usage metrics to determine the need for expansion and executing engineering tasks as required. - Knowledge of security scanning tools like DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, SCA tools (e.g., Snyk, Sonatype, GitLab, Mend, etc.). - Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning. - Experience with Linux automation scripting using tools like Ansible, Bash, and Groovy. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. - Strong hands-on knowledge in Jenkins, OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Nexus. - Experience in Docker containerization, Kubernetes, Docker Helm, Open Shift, and EKS. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ansible, Bash, Groovy. - Familiarity with security scanning tools like SAST, DAST, SCA. - Prior experience in IT automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
