Job Purpose:

Reporting Structure:

Reports to: Head Medical Services

Principal Accountabilities:

• Provider Network Management:

  Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and service providers.

• Service Delivery:

  Coordinate with hospitals to ensure timely and accurate service for patients.

• Empanelment & Contracts:

  Lead hospital empanelment, tariff negotiations, and contract renewals.

• Data Analytics:

  Use Excel to track utilization, hospital performance, and cost efficiency; recommend improvements.

• Escalation Handling:

  Resolve provider and TPA-related escalations to ensure service continuity and satisfaction.

• Collaboration:

  Work with Claims, Finance, and Customer Care teams to align hospital operations with business needs.

• Team Leadership (TL+):

  Manage, coach, and motivate teams to achieve operational KPIs.

Major Challenges:

• Negotiating competitive tariffs while ensuring quality service.
• Managing escalations and ensuring zero service disruptions.
• Driving cost efficiency while maintaining strong provider relationships.

  Graduate (any discipline).

• Technical:

  Advanced MS Excel (for AM/Manager).

• Domain:

  Knowledge of medical terminology, tariffs, and healthcare operations.

• Leadership (TL & above):

  Team management, motivation, and stakeholder engagement.

Expertise:

• Executive: 0.6 1 year (healthcare/operations preferred).
• Team Lead: 3+ years, with team management.
• Assistant Manager: 5+ years, advanced Excel + team management.
• Manager: 7+ years, leadership + advanced Excel + provider negotiations.
