Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and JCL.
Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform coding, testing, and debugging of mainframe applications. Optimize system performance and ensure the reliability and security of applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mainframe applications with other systems. Develop and maintain technical documentation for all mainframe applications. Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues. Implement disaster recovery plans and ensure root integrity12. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer.
Strong knowledge of COBOL, DB2, and JCL. Familiarity with mainframe tools such as CICS, VSAM, and IBM utilities. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
