Below is the Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.

- Develop and execute on-page SEO strategies including content optimisation, internal linking, and meta tag creation.

- Perform technical SEO audits to identify issues related to crawl ability, indexing, and site performance.

- Optimize website structure, sitemaps, robots.txt, and schema markup for better search visibility.

- Monitor and analyse website performance metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions) using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.

- Build and manage backlink strategies to improve domain authority.

- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all campaigns.

- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

- Prepare and present SEO performance reports to stakeholders and recommend actionable improvements.

Qualifications

- Proven experience (25 years) as an SEO Specialist, Digital Marketer, or related role.

- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

- Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.

- Hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics is a plus.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.

- Understanding of content marketing strategies and how SEO integrates with them.

- Experience with technical site migrations, international SEO, or eCommerce SEO.

- Strong copywriting/editing skills for SEO-optimized content creation.
