Job Description

Need a candidate having knowledge of Building & Other Construction Worker Act and Labour laws.   He should have worked for real estate client and similar kind of projects.   He will be required for deplyment at client site for verification of invoices pertaining to labour compliances.   He should have experience of atleast 4 to 8 years in such field.

Key Responsibilities

Policy & Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain HR and compliance policies and procedures aligned with BOCW Act, labour laws (e.g., minimum wages, EPF, ESI), and other statutory requirements.

Auditing & Risk Assessment: Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and statutory requirements.

Documentation & Filings: Manage all documentation, filings, and renewals for licenses, registrations, and statutory returns as per legal mandates.

Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with government authorities, labour inspectors, and other regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and full compliance.

Training & Awareness: Train HR staff and employees on compliance requirements, policies, and best practices to foster a culture of compliance.

Legal Monitoring: Stay updated on changes in labour laws, BOCW Act provisions, and other industry-specific regulations to ensure timely updates to policies and procedures.

Issue Resolution: Handle compliance-related grievances and conduct investigations to resolve any compliance issues or violations.

Reporting: Prepare and deliver reports on compliance findings to senior leadership and recommend corrective actions or strategies for mitigation.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of labour laws, BOCW Act, and other relevant real estate industry regulations.

Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks effectively.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to review policies, conduct audits, and interpret complex legal requirements.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to train employees, prepare reports, and interact with regulatory bodies.

Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve compliance-related issues and conduct thorough investigations.
