Onestream Developer

The OneStream Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting the
OneStream XF platform to meet enterprise financial planning, consolidation, reporting, and analysis needs. This role bridges technical expertise with finance process understanding and collaborates closely with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and IT. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Development Design and develop OneStream applications, including cubes, dimensions, workflows, business rules, dashboards, and forms. Implement custom business logic using VB.NET, XF functions, and cube views. Build dashboards, BI Blend, and reporting artifacts that meet user and executive reporting needs. Data Integration Develop and manage integrations with ERP systems and other financial data sources using flat files, APIs, or connectors. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, ensuring data quality and consistency. Performance & Maintenance Optimize system performance (metadata, calculations, consolidations). Implement patches, version upgrades, and performance tuning as needed. Document configuration, logic, and development artifacts. Collaboration & Support Partner with Finance SMEs, FP&A, and Accounting to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide ongoing support for enhancements, issue resolution, and user adoption. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and documentation efforts. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field. 3+ years of experience developing with OneStream XF or comparable EPM platforms (e.g., Hyperion, Tagetik, SAP BPC). Experience in financial systems supporting planning, consolidation, or reporting processes. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in VB.NET, SQL, OneStream Studio, Cube Views, and Workflow configuration. Understanding of OLAP concepts, financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and financial planning logic.

Experience with data integrations, including scripting and automation of ETL processes.
Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to finance and business stakeholders. Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills. Collaborative mindset and proactive attitude. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) OneStream certification (e.g., OneStream Certified Professional). Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies. Background in finance or accounting is a strong plus.
