The OneStream Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting the OneStream XF platform to meet enterprise financial planning, consolidation, reporting, and analysis needs. This role bridges technical expertise with finance process understanding and collaborates closely with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and IT. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Development Design and develop OneStream applications, including cubes, dimensions, workflows, business rules, dashboards, and forms. Implement custom business logic using VB.NET, XF functions, and cube views. Build dashboards, BI Blend, and reporting artifacts that meet user and executive reporting needs. Data Integration Develop and manage integrations with ERP systems and other financial data sources using flat files, APIs, or connectors. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, ensuring data quality and consistency. Performance & Maintenance Optimize system performance (metadata, calculations, consolidations). Implement patches, version upgrades, and performance tuning as needed. Document configuration, logic, and development artifacts. Collaboration & Support Partner with Finance SMEs, FP&A, and Accounting to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide ongoing support for enhancements, issue resolution, and user adoption. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and documentation efforts. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field. 3+ years of experience developing with OneStream XF or comparable EPM platforms (e.g., Hyperion, Tagetik, SAP BPC). Experience in financial systems supporting planning, consolidation, or reporting processes. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in VB.NET, SQL, OneStream Studio, Cube Views, and Workflow configuration. Understanding of OLAP concepts, financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and financial planning logic. Experience with data integrations, including scripting and automation of ETL processes. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to finance and business stakeholders. Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills. Collaborative mindset and proactive attitude. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) OneStream certification (e.g., OneStream Certified Professional). Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies. Background in finance or accounting is a strong plus.

Your role will demand robust technical and analytical skills, along with practical expertise in working with the OneStream platform. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing OneStream solutions like workflows, business rules, dashboards, cube views, and reports. You will be tasked with establishing and managing data integrations between OneStream and source systems such as ERPs and Data Warehouses. Configuring metadata, data models, and security roles within the OneStream platform will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will write and troubleshoot VB.NET business rules and custom calculations, support financial close and planning cycles by automating tasks, validating data, and optimizing performance, and collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into functional and technical specifications. Furthermore, you will be expected to develop and implement unit, system, and user acceptance test plans, provide continuous maintenance and enhancements to OneStream applications, and document technical designs, processes, and user guides. In your day-to-day activities, you will be involved in writing or updating VB.NET business rules, developing or modifying cube views, dashboards, or Quick Views, creating data integrations using OneStream connectors or custom scripts, participating in design sessions and sprint planning meetings, performing code reviews, and optimizing scripts for performance and maintainability. You will also be responsible for running tests and deploying changes to development, test, and production environments. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in EPM development, with at least 1 year focused on OneStream. Proficiency in VB.NET, SQL, and scripting languages used within OneStream, a deep understanding of financial processes like FP&A, consolidation, and financial reporting, experience in integrating OneStream with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday, as well as strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential. Holding a OneStream certification (Platform or Specialty) would be an added advantage.
