On-Ground Reporter

You will be working as a Junior On-Ground Reporter at ScoopWhoop, where you will play a crucial role in bringing stories to life. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Researching exciting, topical, or quirky stories worth telling - Scripting and preparing for shoots in collaboration with producers - Covering stories on-ground in Delhi/Mumbai, ranging from pop culture to social issues - Coordinating with external producers/journalists for stories happening outside your city - Working closely with editors to ensure the final video captures the story's tone and voice - Delivering videos on time consistently To excel in this role, you should ideally have: - Around 1 year of experience in reporting, digital video, or journalism (internships included) - Strong writing skills to script engaging content - Comfort with on-ground reporting, asking questions, and pursuing leads - Good coordination and communication skills to collaborate effectively with editors, producers, and external teams - Basic camera/sound skills are a plus, though not mandatory If you are passionate about reporting, love chasing stories, and aspire to grow into a digital-first journalist, this opportunity is perfect for you.,
