Lead Editor and Videographer

As a Lead Editor and Videographer at our fast-growing content platform dedicated to Formula 1 and the world of motorsport, your role will be pivotal in driving our video production efforts. Combining editing, post-production, and hands-on camerawork, you will also take on growing leadership responsibilities as we expand. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead video production process from concept to delivery, including shoot planning and post-production. - Capture high-quality footage using professional cameras, ensuring visually appealing content with strong composition, lighting, and audio. - Edit engaging short-form and long-form videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, incorporating motion graphics, transitions, and effects with After Effects. - Adapt long-form content into social-first formats suitable for platforms like IG Reels and YouTube Shorts. - Collaborate on creative direction, storyboarding, and shot lists for F1 race weekends, trending moments, and automotive features. - Maintain a consistent storytelling style and visual brand identity across all videos. - Stay updated on F1 race schedules, news, and fan trends to create timely and relevant content. - Establish and manage a structured video asset library. - Future role progression may involve mentoring and managing a team of editors and videographers. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience as a Videographer & Video Editor (portfolio/reel required). - Strong proficiency in professional camera operation, including DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras. - Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. - Deep understanding of social media content styles, pacing, and audience engagement strategies. - Strong storytelling instincts with a knack for cinematic and dynamic edits. - Background in automotive or motorsports content is highly preferred. - Genuine interest in Formula 1 or automotive culture with in-depth knowledge of the sport and fan community. - Ability to work independently and deliver quick turnarounds, especially during race weekends. - Bonus skills include color grading, sound design, drone operation, and thumbnail design.
