We are looking for an experienced senior Okta Implementation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a proven expert in Single-Sign on using Okta SSO.
Qualification: 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities:
- Okta Engineer will be responsible for the development, configuration and administration of Okta platform.
- . Okta Engineer will drive the implementation of secure single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), user provisioning, and lifecycle management processes.
- . Okta Engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to understand identity and access management requirements, translating them into effective Okta solutions.
- . Responsible for Design, implement, and maintain Okta configurations to enable seamless SSO and MFA for various applications and services.
- . Integrate Okta with other systems, both cloud and on-premises, to ensure centralized user identity management.
- . Document the technical designs, configurations, and procedures to ensure collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
- . Work with large business programs to provide IAM/SSO/MFA guidance, requirements and help to develop solutions patterns.
- . Help build the roadmap on how to mature the SSO/MFA platform through big picture approach and integration with other teams and identifying dependencies.
- . Oversee complex designs, development, and delivery of the installation, integration and deployment of the chosen SSO/MFA product.
- . Communicating to clients and partners aspects of both the product and the implementation at the technical and/or functional level appropriate for the situation
- . Pre and Post-implementation requirements gathering, analysis and documenting user testing, debugging, support and maintenance
- . Developing and delivering technical training designed to enable/educate SSO skills in the team members.
- . Managing the design & architecture for small to medium projects/ contributing to large complex SSO projects
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in implementing Okta SSO
. Experience in Okta SSO Multi Factor Authentication (OKTA Verify/ RSA /SMS/ etc.,) . Experience in API integration with Okta for authentication . Experience in implementation or knowledge of SAML/OAuth/OPEN ID Connect/Kerberos protocols and their behavior. . Experience in integrating Partners of different domains for achieving SSO using standards like SAML, OAuth and WS-Federation on OKTA SSO/MFA Platform. . Knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSL, DNS, LDAP, SSH, RDP . Knowledge of Design/ Build / Install / configure / customize / implement and support identity and access management solutions using Okta identity and Access Management components. . Good understanding on Active Directory and Oracle Directory services . Okta Certified Administrator credential highly desired. . Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills . Proven ability to multi-task, delegate, prioritize tasks, evaluate and manage risk . This role requires shift and on call during off business hours and weekends on rotation basis. Primary shift for work will be 3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST. Good-to-Have Skills: . Experience in any other IAM technologies like Siteminder, SailPoint, ODSEE, AD is an added advantage. . Knowledge of IAM in cloud servers (AWS, GCP, Azure) . Experience in Implementing at least two IAM Engagements including Requirement gathering, Design, development, testing and support . Experience in other SSO products like Siteminder, OneLogin, etc. . Any experience with Active Directory DS & LDS, FIM/MIM, GPO, Change Auditor, Recovery Manager, Azure AD Connect . Good understanding of IT security principles . Security certifications
