Role & responsibilities Department Management: Support in implementing manpower plan, so that management can evaluate the utilization/monitor work load of each individual employee for upcoming 2-3 months. Accordingly we can plan resources for upcoming projects Review allocation of projects and advise resource utilization Performance appraisal Department Team building activities. Conduct monthly meetings for department and make MOM Ensuring that the department members work in accordance as per System. Actively building supportive relationships and communication within the team. Directly managing HR related matters such as performance reviews, recruitment, performance management, mobilization / demobilization, etc. Mentoring and coaching the project teams and workgroups. Training needs Arranging training/informative sessions like product/technical presentations from vendor which can be utilized in the design developments of any projects. Same can be arranged in between departments. conduct software validation for software/excel files used Leave plan for employees People Skills: Able to create and work in diverse team. Builds appropriate, constructive, and effective business relationships throughout the organization. Knows difference between manager and leader Technical Competency: When working as Lead: Familiar with Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design of Topside Modules for FPSO systems. Experience in Analysis & Design of Topside Module structures. Conversant with In-service analysis such as; In-place (Normal, Extreme & Damage Condition), Dynamic and Spectral Fatigue using SACS program. Conversant with Pre-service analysis such as Lifting, Load- out, Transportation, weighing using SACS program. Reviewing Finite element analysis results using ANSYS for finalize the vendor output for the SCF for Spectral Fatigue analysis. Conversant with Offshore structural steel design. Conversant with offshore codes and specifications such as API RP2A, ISO, AISC, ABS, DNV & GL Noble Denton. Develop analytical models and Structural Calculation reports, also capable of reviewing SACS analysis models and reports. prepare offshore structural design basis, design brief reports, monthly weight control and material take-off reports. Experience in checking and approving of Structural Detail Engineering Drawings. Experience in reviewing of vendor drawings and Vendor relevant Informations. Familiar with Handling, Maintenance requirements and HSE safety requirements of Topside Process Modules. Areas of expertise to include; Jacket and Topsides Pre-service (Transportation, Lifting and on bottom stability of jacket) and In-service (In place, Boat Impact and Fatigue) analyses for Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design. Topside Modules (FPSO) Pre-service (Load out, Transportation, Lifting) and In-service (In place) analyses for Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design. Secondary members design like pipe supports, Equipment supports, Monorails, Pad-eye, Wave slam and Clamp design for offshore structures. Weight Control Specialist and Weight control activities for offshore structures. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors in Civil engineering, minimum 18 years experience, out of which 10 years should be with O&G engineering Consultants Responsible for growing the department, ensure efficiency of department, set a role model, Spend 50% of time working as a lead, co-ordinate with other Avenir Offices, align with COMPANY policies Should be readily available to travel to other Avenir offices for duration of 5 days to 6 months Ensure diversity and inclusion is maintained in the discipline Have a good attitude
