Officer - Reconciliation & Proofing Analyst

As an Officer, Reconciliation & Proofing Analyst at Citi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting by reconciling general ledger balances to the sub-ledger on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include identifying and clearing accounting exceptions, analyzing recurring issues to suggest process improvements, monitoring aged breaks on balance sheet accounts, and meeting financial reporting deadlines. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors/University degree, 5-7 years of relevant experience in account reconciliation, Finance, or Operations (preferably in a financial institution), CPA or local accreditation, experience in accounting (financial services sector experience preferred), and knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting.
