Officer - Microbiologist

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing in the pharmaceutical industry. Your primary tasks will include preparing media, sterilizing equipment, conducting growth promotion tests, sampling and analyzing water for chemical and microbiological testing, performing microbiological analysis of finished goods and raw materials, handling microbial cultures, maintaining laboratory instruments, conducting bio burden testing of packaging materials, ensuring GLP compliance, and maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare media, sterilize equipment, and conduct growth promotion tests. - Sample and analyze purified and potable water for chemical and microbiological testing. - Perform microbiological analysis of finished goods and raw materials (MLT & Microbiological Assay). - Handle microbial cultures and maintain them appropriately. - Receive media, label samples, and maintain stock records. - Calibrate laboratory instruments. - Conduct bio burden testing of packaging materials. - Maintain logbooks and related records. - Ensure compliance with GLP standards. Qualifications Required: - M.Sc in Microbiology, B. Pharm, or M. Pharm. - 2-4 years of experience in microbiological testing in the pharmaceutical industry.,
