Officer - Data Custodian for Bank Applications - C11 - Hybrid - Pune

As a Data Custodian at the company, you will be responsible for delivering results by establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Bank development team. Your main objective will be to drive data analysis and programming activities within the banking mainframe environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze and propose data-related solutions for projects based on data analysis in the banking mainframe environment. - Contribute to the formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas based on application and mainframe knowledge and analysis. - Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals. - Provide evaluative judgment based on data analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations. - Manage Change-the-Bank (CTB) Data quality related activities for assigned applications. - Support Run-the-Bank (RTB) ongoing data quality management at the bank for assigned applications. **Qualifications:** - Exposure to Citibank and knowledge preferred along with Data Governance knowledge. - Experience in Applications Development role in a mainframe environment. - Stakeholder management experience. - Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards. - Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication. - General Experience in managing application day-to-day operations, mainframe application Data Analysis, Data quality, Data Lineage, Data migration, and driving application enhancements and change initiatives. - Experience addressing inconsistencies in data and resolving data quality issues in applications by thorough data analysis in the mainframe environment. - Technical Expertise in understanding technical infrastructure, including application operations, data transfers, knowledge of data security, and implementation, maintenance, and monitoring performance of Data Quality rules in an application. **Additional Company Details:** - This job description provides a high-level overview of the types of work performed.
