As an Officer (Finance Accounting Intermediate Analyst) at Citi's Mumbai office, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy of Balance Sheet accounts through monthly validation. You will be involved in reconciling, proofing, aging, and submitting account balances in e-Recon. Your role also includes identifying internal control weaknesses, ensuring compliance with Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Substantiation policies, and supporting various regions such as APAC, EMEA countries, and LATAM. - Prepare high-quality Balance Sheet reconciliations for legal entities across EMEA - Resolve reconciling items and report reconciliation status accurately - Communicate with Legal Entity Managers and manage stakeholder relationships effectively - Participate in cross-functional initiatives and take charge of your training needs - Provide leadership within the team - Post-graduate education - Minimum of 10-13 years of experience in an accounting or financial control environment - Certifications such as Post-Graduation in Accounting & Finance, MBA, CFA, Graduation in Accounting & Finance, Qualified CA, or Semi-Qualified CA with relevant experience are desirable - Strong analytical skills, communication abilities, proactive troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and effective presentation skills are essential for this role.,
