Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as Officer – Accounts. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include processing purchase invoices, verifying supporting documentation, managing employee reimbursements, preparing banking instruments, and assisting with monthly GST compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively to ensure financial integrity and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Management:

  • Register purchase invoices with reference to Purchase Orders.
  • Register invoices without Purchase Orders.
  • Perform vouching of purchase invoices with Purchase Orders and expenses with supporting attachments.

Payments & Disbursements:

  • Handle cash disbursement to employees against approved vouchers.
  • Prepare cheques, demand drafts, and other banking documents.
  • Prepare vendor payment documents ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Tax & Compliance:

  • Assist in monthly Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or related field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, and GST compliance.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of GST and other statutory requirements.

Soft Skills:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
