Job Description

Core duties

Data management: Performing data entry, updating databases or spreadsheets, and maintaining records accurately.
Reporting and documentation: Creating reports, generating invoices, and preparing quotations.
Administrative tasks: Handling administrative support, managing emails, and maintaining files.
Coordination: Working with front office, sales, service, and finance teams to ensure proper documentation and workflow.
Basic accounting: Performing accounting entries and managing stock updates, sometimes using software like Tally or other ERP systems.

Key skills and qualifications

Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) is essential. Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software is also necessary.
Typing: Strong typing speed is a common requirement, with specific targets like over 30 WPM mentioned.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills are important, with the ability to draft letters in both English and Hindi mentioned in some job descriptions.
Attention to detail: This is crucial for accurate data entry and record-keeping.
Problem-solving: The ability to monitor for errors and troubleshoot issues is valuable.
