Job Title: Office Administrator

Job Type: Full-Time

Department: Administration / Accounts / Marketing

Reporting To: Top Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to support our daily office operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing basic accounting tasks, handling inbound and outbound calls, and assisting with lead generation through marketing outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts & Record-Keeping

  • Maintain day-to-day financial records (e.g. invoices, receipts, petty cash).
  • Assist in preparing reports and financial summaries for management.
  • Work with the external accountant or finance team to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and vendor payments.
  • Support in billing and follow-up for payments with clients/customers.

2. Call Handling

  • Attend and manage all incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Route calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up.

3. Marketing & Lead Generation

  • Make outbound marketing calls to potential clients to introduce company products/services.
  • Maintain a database of leads and follow up consistently for business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the sales/marketing team to schedule meetings or demos.
  • Record customer inquiries and maintain a call log for tracking performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in office administration or similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with phone-based communication (inbound/outbound).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • Prior experience in lead generation or telemarketing is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Tamil

Work Environment:

  • Office-based, with standard business hours 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
  • Occasionally may need to assist during off-hours for reporting or urgent communications.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Additional incentives/bonuses for lead generation or performance (if applicable).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
