Position Title: Odoo Specialist

Department: IT / ERP Support

Reports To: IT Manager

Location: JAMS Head Office

Job Summary:

The Odoo Specialist will be responsible for testing system updates, confirming functionality, supporting staff with Odoo-related issues, fixing system errors, and handling regular data backups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and confirm all Odoo system updates before they go live.
• Provide direct support to staff for any Odoo issues.
• Fix errors in the system or escalate to developers if needed.
• Monitor and maintain system performance.
• Perform regular data backups and ensure data security.
• Document issues, updates, and resolutions.
• Coordinate with the operation and development team for smooth system operations.

Requirements:

• Good experience using or managing Odoo (functional level).
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve system problems.
• Familiar with business workflows (sales, HR, inventory, etc.).
• Basic technical knowledge (Python, XML, or database is a plus).
• Organized, reliable, and good at communicating with non-technical users.
