Odoo Specialist

The Odoo Specialist will play a crucial role in the IT/ERP Support department at JAMS Head Office. You will be reporting directly to the IT Manager and your primary responsibilities will include testing system updates, ensuring system functionality, assisting staff with Odoo-related issues, troubleshooting and rectifying system errors, and managing regular data backups. Your key responsibilities will involve conducting thorough testing of all Odoo system updates to verify their functionality before implementation. You will provide direct support to staff members for any Odoo-related issues that may arise and address system errors promptly or escalate them to developers if necessary. Monitoring and maintaining system performance, performing regular data backups to uphold data security, documenting issues, updates, and resolutions, and collaborating with the operation and development teams for seamless system operations will also be part of your duties. To excel in this role, you should possess significant experience in using or managing Odoo at a functional level. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve system problems efficiently will be crucial. Familiarity with various business workflows such as sales, HR, and inventory is essential. Basic technical knowledge, including Python, XML, or database understanding, would be advantageous. Being organized, reliable, and having excellent communication skills to interact effectively with non-technical users will be key attributes for success in this position.,
