As an Odoo Developer at GPC Agrochemicals Pvt Ltd, located in Safidon, Jind, Haryana-126112, you will play a crucial role in our IT team. Your primary responsibility will involve developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo modules to provide efficient solutions for business processes. By integrating Odoo with various departments like Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Finance, you will support the seamless operations of different teams through ERP integration. Your key responsibilities will include developing new modules and features in the Odoo ERP system to align with business requirements. You will also customize existing Odoo modules, enhance system efficiency, and integrate Odoo with third-party applications for smooth data exchange. Thorough testing of developed modules, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for effective implementation of solutions will be part of your routine tasks. Additionally, staying updated with the latest Odoo versions and upgrades and creating technical documentation will be essential in this role. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of experience in Odoo development and customization. A strong grasp of the Odoo framework, ORM methods, and Python programming language is essential, coupled with proficiency in PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript. Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly in agrochemicals or manufacturing industries, would be advantageous. Your problem-solving abilities, teamwork orientation, and effective communication skills will be critical for success. Prior experience in the agrochemical or manufacturing sector, business process analysis, and Odoo ERP integration with other tools will be preferred.
