Odoo Architect

As an Odoo Architect at CGI, you will be responsible for leading Odoo Platform v15+ based development projects, with a primary focus on Odoo development and customization. Your expertise in Odoo modules, architecture, and APIs will be crucial as you integrate Odoo with other systems and data sources. Additionally, you will be expected to create custom modules and scale Odoo deployments for a large number of users and transactions. Proficiency in Python is essential for this role, along with the ability to work with other programming languages such as Java and Scala. Your responsibilities will also include data analysis and reporting, utilizing tools like Superset and Cassandra (4.0+) with Query Engine like Presto. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL will be required, as well as familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts. Experience in managing and processing large datasets, along with knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, will be beneficial. You will also be expected to have experience with DevSecOps practices, including containerization, Docker, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD with GitLab. Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile methodologies will be essential, as well as proficiency in Linux/Windows OS and tools like Jira, GitLab, and Confluence. In this role, strong problem-solving and analytical skills are a must, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
