Mandatory skills: OCI Compute, ,VCN, , Storage ,OCI-IAM , Security, OCI Load balancer, Oracle Cloud Database Services, Containers, Edge Services ,Ravello ,Big Data Applications, DC migration, Storage/ Data Migration, command line, Console operation, Architecting, Hybrid cloud, ITIL knowledge, SDLC knowledge. Technical Qualification/ Knowledge: Good knowledge on the cloud technology, different patterns, deployment methods, compatibility of the applications In depth knowledge in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI ) and OCI-Classic including but not limited to the following technology areas o All different storage options, their fitment in solution and implementation knowledge e.g. Local NvmSSd , Block Volumes, File Storage , Storage Gateway ,Data Transfer o OCI- IAM,Security List,User ,Groups o Databases including Oracle 18c, 12c, 11g and MySQL. o Compartment ,Managing Compartments, Managing Resources , Compartments security o OCI VM /Bare Metal different types of VM and their fitment in design o Deploying and managing, understanding of different deployment models OS Choice, BYOI , o Networking -VCN ,Subnets , security, different Load balancing option o Fastconnect ,IPSecVPN,EdgeServices ,Understanding of VPN solutions, MPLS, and enterprise network equipment like routers, firewalls, and switches. o Cloud deployment automation experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef o Background in Oracle on-premise technology products, especially in the area of Oracle Middleware (Weblogic,SOA, BPM), or database (RAC, Data Guard, Golden Gate o OCI console operation, Managing Tenancy, Identity Domain. Ability to develop a robust design to meet customer business requirement with scalability, availability , performance and cost effectiveness using OCI offerings Ability to identify and gather requirements to define an architectural solution which can be successfully built and operate on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Ability to conclude high level and low level design for the OCI platform/ Hybrid Cloud Platform which may also include data center design as necessary Capabilities to provide OCI operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a project Understanding the significance of the different metrics under the monitoring, their threshold values and should be able to take necessary corrective measures based on the thresholds Knowledge on automation to reduce the number of incidents or the repetitive incidents are preferred Must have good knowledge on the networking, subnet , subnet masking, route tables, routing, access control list, NAT and port address translation Must have knowledge on the traditional IT infrastructure includes o Server Hardware, Virtualization platforms, Clustering o Basic Storage services and types o Networking basic data base implementation knowledge Basic knowledge on typical application deployment , load balancing Good knowledge on the data center operation, monitoring tools, backup solution Hands on knowledge on the Data center migration and application migration to the AWS cloud or any other cloud environment Good understanding of the data center deployment design, how the components works together, understanding of the component level dependencies within and outside data center Experience expected: 2+ year of experience in OCI/OCI-Classic or any other Cloud based design (HLD and LLD) of the different components to meet the customer and business expectation in a cost-effective manner Must have performed cloud architecting job for significant volume of application deployment in cloud 2+ years of hands-on experience operating Oracle-based applications ( HCM,EBS ,CRM etc .), OCI-Clasic/OCI Compute instances, Storage, backup, network configuration, IAM, Security configuration, automation, DR, backup and recovery One or more years experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS. Knowledge Oracle Bare metal cloud offerings, Cloud at Customers offering. 5 or more years equivalent experience in the data center operation in any of the following areas o OS administration (either Windows or Linux/ Unix) o Storage + backup management (Enterprise level storages) o Administration/ Architecting virtualization platform (any one Oracle VM, VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM) o Network administration with good knowledge on at least one Operating system Good experience in designing DR and HA solutions and hands on experience for deploying those Experience on enterprise level IT infrastructure monitoring Server migration from one data center to another data center DC migration experience is must Roles and Responsibilities: Ability to understand the design from the shared design document, and plan for the implementation / configuration Implement and Configure end to end all aspects of OCI/OCI-Classic as per design Configuration of Disaster Recovery design within and outside OCI Demonstrating User Acceptance Tests for all the OCI Components at Infrastructure layer including Compute, Storage, Backup, DR, Network, Security and Load Balancing. Scripting for automating the repeatable tasks (Provisioning, Monitoring, Backup, DR-Sync and image Creation). Implementation and Monitoring of Security Aspects of OCI (Ingress/Egress Rule, Security List, Implementing IGW, Distributed Route Gateway, Creating IAM Policies). Migration of Data Center to Cloud Helping project team for analysis of the application and infrastructure assessment for cloud migration and cloud suitability Troubleshooting the OCI related issues within stipulated time frame Design Low Level Detailed Migration Plans for Workloads from Physical or Virtual Servers to OCI/OCI Classic. Migration of Physical and Virtual OS (Hyper-V, VMware,KVM ,Oracle VM, AWS and Azure) to OCI using various Tools as P-to-V and V-to-V. Knowledge of various PaaS/SaaS offering from Oracle Cloud. Demonstrating User Acceptance Tests for all the OCI Products at Infrastructure layer including Compute, Storage, Backup, DR, Network, Security and Load Balancing Performing POC for different tools used in assessment, migration, testing Researching on new tool sets as needed to meet the customer and organizational requirement to deliver on time and within planned cost Ability to learn and adopt new technologies Ability to perform eh tasks stated above independently Soft Skill- Excellent communication skill and capability to work directly with global customers Excellent documentation skill Excellent leadership skill to drive project as technology architecture leader Focused on quality of deliverables, cost of delivery and time of delivery Customer focused Timely and accurate communication Need to demonstrate the ownership for the technical issues and engage the right stakeholders for timely resolution Flexibility to learn and lead other technology areas like other public cloud technologies, private cloud, automation Good reporting skill Willing to work in different time zones as per project requirement Good attitude to work in team and as individual contributor based on the project and situation Focused, result oriented and self-motivating Mandatory Skills: Cloud Infra ReArchitecting.
