Occupational Therapist - Ignitio Child Development Center, Hyderabad Ignitio Child Development Center, established in 2017, is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for children with neurodevelopmental disorders. With five centers across Hyderabad (Srinagar Colony, Madinaguda, Manikonda, Nizampet, and Attapur), we are committed to fostering growth and independence in children and their families. Our services include occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavior therapy, and early intervention programs. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. Job Summary The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance daily living skills and promote independence in children aged 2-12 years with neurodevelopmental disorders. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional, child-centered care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of children to identify developmental needs related to fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and play. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and in collaboration with families and other team members. Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve functional abilities and participation in daily activities. Educate and empower families with strategies and techniques to support their child's development at home. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions and program development. Adhere to professional and ethical standards of practice. Qualifications Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution. Proven experience working with children, preferably those with neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong understanding of child development, sensory integration, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. 1 Compassionate, patient, 2 and dedicated to promoting children's well-being.
