As a CAE Engineer / Analyst specializing in Crash & Safety CAE, you will be responsible for Vehicle Crash CAE Simulation & Evaluation. Your key responsibilities will include preparing full vehicle CAE models using HYPERMESH/ANSA/PRIMER for mesh discretization, assembly, constraints, and load setting for automotive sub-systems and components. You will conduct system and full vehicle simulation using LS-Dyna software, focusing on the development of vehicle body and aggregates for Crash & Occupant Safety through CAE. Your role will involve model optimization and robustness using tools such as DiffCrash, ModeFrontier, LS-OPT. You will be expected to interpret results in LS-PrePost/Hyperview/Hypergraph to identify failure modes and provide directions for countermeasures by performing parameter studies on the FEM model. Additionally, you will be responsible for report preparation and communication with stakeholders, including design and testing teams, to implement countermeasures. Collaboration with testing teams to analyze failures, correlate CAE results with physical testing results, and enhance CAE methodology will be a crucial part of your job. Your technical competency should include a strong foundation in Strength of Materials, Theory of Elasticity/Plasticity, automotive body knowledge, sheet metal & plastic part design, AIS Safety Regulations, NCAP protocols, and Finite Element Analysis. Experience in Automotive Crash & Occupant Safety CAE domain, model building, carrying out System Level/Full vehicle simulations, debugging CAE models, and interpreting FEA results will be essential. Furthermore, you should have experience in working with CAE engineers, making design modifications based on CAE inputs, and preparing comprehensive analysis reports with countermeasure proposals to meet performance targets. Exposure to physical testing and the ability to understand test conditions and represent them in CAE will be advantageous. On the behavioral front, you are expected to possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication & presentation skills, an achievement orientation, be a team player, have networking skills, and be flexible in your approach.,
