Consultant

Scope of Work

• Lead the

  implementation and configuration

  of Cribl Edge and Cribl Stream.

• Architect efficient, scalable pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and routing logs, metrics, and traces.

• Integrate Cribl with existing observability platforms and data sources.

• Provide

  hands-on troubleshooting and performance tuning

  .

• Recommend best practices for observability strategy, governance, and operations.

• Deliver

  knowledge transfer, documentation, and training

  to internal engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in

  building

  and using observability technologies

• 5+ years of experience

  in observability, monitoring, or logging domain

• Strong familiarity with modern observability standards and practices (logs, metrics, traces, pipelines).

• Experience with at least one major observability/monitoring tool (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, OpenTelemetry).

• Strong problem-solving and consulting skills with ability to

  deliver quickly and independently

  .

Preferred Experience

• Proven

  expertise with Cribl Edge and Cribl Stream

  (hands-on, enterprise-level projects).

• Exposure to

  infrastructure-centric environments

  (hybrid data centers, VMs, networking, storage systems).

• Prior consulting experience guiding enterprise clients through observability transformations.

• Security and compliance considerations in observability pipelines.

• Big Data technologies

  (e.g., Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Flink) for large-scale data processing.

Deliverables

• Configured and optimized Cribl Edge and Stream environment tailored to project needs.

• Documented best practices, runbooks, and reference architecture.

• Training and knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams.
