Nut Forging Technician / Cold Forging Technician

Position Title: Nut Forging Technician / Cold Forging Technician Location: Thandalam Village (Near Chennai & Sriperumbudur Highways) Summary of the Role: A Nut Forging Technician is a skilled professional responsible for operating and maintaining machines that shape metal to produce nuts and other components. This involves working with a forging process, which can be either hot or cold. The technician's main duties include setting up and operating the forging machines, inspecting finished products for quality, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during production. Key Responsibilities (Typical duties for this type of role): Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and tend to forging machines and presses. This includes adjusting machine settings, pressures, and depths of strokes to ensure correct part formation. Tooling and Dies: Install, adjust, and remove dies, synchronizing cams, and other forging equipment. Quality Control: Inspect and measure machined parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve operational issues and machine malfunctions to maintain a smooth production flow. Blueprint Reading: Read work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine specifications and set up the machine accordingly. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the forging equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Required Qualifications: Education: Any / Diploma / ITI (Industrial Training Institute). Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in Nut Forging or Cold Forging is mandatory. Gender: Male. Age: Below 40 years. Compensation and Benefits: Salary: Up to 5 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum), based on the candidate's current CTC (Cost to Company). Other Benefits: Food is provided. Accommodation is provided. Transportation is provided only for candidates who live near the plant. Work Schedule: Working Days: 6 days a week. Week Off: Rotational week off. Overtime: No overtime (No OT).
