Nursing Tutor- Community Health

We are inviting applications for the position of Nursing Tutor for the Department of Nursing at Chitkara University, Punjab Key Responsibilities: Teaching and Curriculum Development: Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in nursing subjects. Develop and update course materials in alignment with the curriculum and accreditation standards. Facilitate hands-on learning experiences in clinical settings. Student Support and Assessment: Provide academic advising and mentorship to students. Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and clinical evaluations. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback. Clinical Supervision: Supervise students during clinical placements, ensuring adherence to safety and ethical standards. Collaborate with healthcare facilities to coordinate clinical training opportunities. Research and Professional Development: Participate in research activities to enhance nursing education and practice. Stay updated with advancements in nursing education and healthcare practices. Administrative Duties: Assist in the organization of nursing programs, workshops, and community outreach initiatives. Contribute to departmental meetings and committees as required. Qualifications: Education: Masters degree in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing-Community Health/ OBG) from a recognized institution. Bachelors degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is mandatory. Experience: Freshers are eligible to apply .0-3 years of experience. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate students. Proficient in using educational technology and digital learning tools. Personal Attributes: Passion for nursing education and student success.
