Nursing Staff - OT

As an OT Nurse at HCG Cancer Hospital in Mansarovar, Jaipur, your role is crucial in providing high-quality perioperative care to surgical patients. You will be responsible for pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative assistance, ensuring the safety and well-organization of the operating theatre environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare the operating room before surgery, ensuring availability of necessary equipment and sterile supplies. - Assist surgeons during operations by handling instruments and maintaining a sterile field. - Monitor patients" vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery. - Coordinate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals for smooth surgical procedures. - Count instruments, sponges, and needles pre- and post-surgery to prevent retention. - Sterilize instruments and adhere to infection control protocols. - Document nursing care, observations, and surgical details accurately. - Assist in patient positioning, skin preparation, and draping before surgery. - Ensure post-operative transfer of patients to the recovery room and provide handover to recovery staff. - Support emergency surgical procedures as needed. Qualifications & Skills: - GNM / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution. - Must be a registered nurse with the Nursing Council. - Minimum 13 years of experience in OT (freshers can apply). - Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and OT protocols. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. - Willingness to work in shifts and on-call duties.
