Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to best practices and safety protocols

Monitor patient progress, documenting observations and communicating any significant changes to the medical team

Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-hospital care

Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient information and progress

Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care and improve healthcare outcomes

Participate in continuous education and training opportunities to remain current with nursing practices and standards

Required Qualifications

Valid nursing license in the applicable state or region

Bachelors or Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic environment

Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in medical software and electronic health records

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care

Ability to handle high-stress situations and make critical decisions efficiently
