Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB PROFILE:

A) PRIMARY: 1

Computation of Advance Tax every Quarter
Attending to Non-filing notices from Income Tax Department
Refund follow up/ Rectification
Reply to any notices from Income Tax Department (Assessment, Reassessment, Appeals)
194-IA compliances (purchase of immovable property)
TDS Returns and Compliances
Determining Residential Status and Scope of Taxability as per Income Tax Act
Lower Deduction Certificate applications for sale of immovable property
Obtaining PAN; resolving PAN queries; PAN migration; PAN inoperative
Repatriation of Funds (Form 15CA/CB)

B) SECONDARY:

US Tax work (if interested in profile)

• Double Tax Treaty and FEMA advisory (training shall be given)

• Website updation under guidance of CA

Assist Seniors in Presentations to Banks
Co-ordination and communication with Lawyers/Associates for assisting client

2. LEARNINGS/KNOWLEDGE UPDATION

Seminars on Tax & FEMA
Reading Books (Mention Specific Books):
IT Act, Master Guide to IT Act, IT Rules, Commentary for typical cases, ITRs and ITDs for some cases, Companies Act, 1956 for some assignment.
Browsing Any Work Related Websites :

3. REPORTING STRUCTURE (DAILY, WEEKLY OR MONTHLY BASIS):

• Reporting to immediate Senior on daily basis
