NPD-Packaging Development

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing stable, aesthetically valued, cost-effective, and user-friendly packaging materials in compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role will involve optimizing the specification and cost of existing packing materials, coordinating activities at various stages of packaging development, establishing machinability of packaging material, troubleshooting activities related to packaging materials and machines, releasing PM Specification to respective departments, providing technical solutions on graphic designs, and providing technical support to customer complaints in the area of pack designs. Additionally, you will be accountable for accurate preparation and recording of experimental work with clear presentation of key technical data and implementing safe working conditions for product safety and sustainable solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop stable, aesthetically valued, cost-effective, and user-friendly packaging materials - Optimize the specification and cost of existing packing materials - Coordinate activities at various stages of packaging development with stakeholders - Establish machinability of packaging material through packing line trials - Assist in troubleshooting activities related to packaging materials and machines - Release PM Specification to respective departments - Provide technical solutions on graphic designs for better aesthetics - Support customer complaints regarding pack designs - Prepare and record experimental work with clear presentation of key technical data - Implement safe working conditions for product safety and sustainable solutions - Plan and conduct experimental work for new packaging development and renovation Qualification Required: - Post Graduate from IIP / SIES - 3-5 years of work experience preferred Additional Details: Skills required include hands-on and innovative work approach, comprehensive knowledge of packaging materials, application & test methods, good HSE&S & Sustainability awareness, effective team working & building skills, good project & time management skills, effective project planning and prioritization, and contacts with external institutes like IIP, CPET, CFTRI. Working knowledge on plastic and paper packaging. Competencies required include obtaining supplier capability & competitions, developing products to suit company requirements, and compliance with Govt. policies and Sustainability requirements for NPDs.,
