Brief Job Description: · Developing stable, aesthetically valued, cost effective and user -friendly PM in compliance with regulatory requirements. · Optimize the specification and cost of existing packing materials · Coordinate activities at various stages of packaging development (factory trials, travel tests, stability Studies) with all stakeholders. · Establish machinability of packaging material by packing line trials · Assist in troubleshooting activities related to packaging materials and machines · Release PM Specification to respective departments. · Provide technical solutions on graphic designs to deliver better aesthetics · Providing technical support to customer complaints in the area of pack designs. · Accurate preparation and recording of experimental work with clear and concise presentation of key technical data. · To implement safe working conditions and to enable key product safety and sustainable solutions. · Accurate preparation and recording of experimental work with clear and concise Presentation of key technical data. · Take individual responsibility for planning and conducting experimental work plan for new packaging development and renovation, and assist project manager to achieve project deliverables OTIF, to meet stakeholders’ needs. Key Result Areas: · Safe working operation in labs · OTIF delivery of agreed experimental product development action plan · Delivery of agreed value creation and margin improvement targets · Effective contribution to Packaging material implementation strategies in plants. Skills required: · Hands-on work & innovative work approach · Enthusiastic and committed individual · Comprehensive knowledge of packaging materials, application & test methods · Good HSE&S & Sustainability awareness · Effective team working & building skills · Good project & time management skills · Effective project planning and prioritization · Contacts with external institute like IIP, CPET, CFTRI etc. · Working knowledge on plastic and paper packaging Educational /Professional Qualification: · Post Graduate from IIP / SIES. Work Experience: · 3-5 years’ work experience is preferable Competencies Required: · Obtain supplier capability & competitions and develop product to suit company requirement. · Compliance to Govt. policies and Sustainability requirements for NPDs.
