Description
Job Summary: Apexon is seeking a Senior Node.js Engineer with strong expertise in backend development to build and optimize scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Node.js architecture, microservices, API development, SQL databases, middleware, and authentication mechanisms . Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable APIs (POST, GET, REST) using Node.js and Express . Design and manage SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) with efficient SQL queries . Implement middleware in Node.js to handle request/response processing. Architect and structure applications following Node.js best practices . Work with related Node.js frameworks to enhance application performance. Develop backend services using TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+) . Implement unit testing for robust and maintainable code. Design and implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SSO) . Develop and maintain microservices-based architecture to enhance scalability. Optimize application performance, security, and reliability . Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless application development and deployment. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of backend development experience (at least 4+ years in Node.js ). Strong understanding of Node.js architecture and middleware . Experience in creating RESTful APIs (GET, POST methods). Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing optimized SQL queries . Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+) . Expertise in Express.js and other Node.js frameworks. Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai. Knowledge of authentication & authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SSO) . Experience in designing and maintaining microservices-based applications . Strong focus on performance optimization and debugging. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes , and cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, GCP ). Understanding of GraphQL and event-driven architecture. Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) .
