Platform/Product Architect

Job Description

Architectural Design : Develop and maintain the overall architecture of the platform/product, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy. Design scalable, reliable, and secure systems that meet both current and future business needs. Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide guidance to development teams on the implementation of the architectural design. Technology Roadmap : Define and evolve the technology roadmap for the platform/product, ensuring that it supports ongoing innovation and improvement. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for product development. Performance & Scalability : Ensure the platform/product is optimized for high availability, performance, and scalability. Lead performance tuning and optimization initiatives across the product's lifecycle. Security & Compliance : Incorporate best practices in security architecture and ensure that products comply with relevant regulations and standards. Address security issues and collaborate with the security team to resolve them. Documentation & Standards : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the platform/product architecture. Establish development standards, design patterns, and architectural frameworks for consistency. Mentorship & Leadership : Mentor and coach development teams on architectural best practices. Act as a technical leader, driving innovation and best practices in platform/product design and development. Skills & Qualifications: 12-16 years of relevant IT experience out of which, [5-8] years of experience in designing and developing high-quality software products. Technical Skills : Experience in software architecture, platform development, or related technical leadership roles. Proven experience in designing and building scalable and high-performing platforms/products. Strong knowledge of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices. Proficiency in software design patterns, API-led integration, and service-oriented architecture (SOA). Deep understanding of security best practices, performance tuning, and DevOps principles. Familiarity with various programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams. Leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset.
