Job Description

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js and microservices architecture . Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs and backend services. Containerize applications using Docker for consistent and portable deployments. Ensure high performance, reliability, and responsiveness of applications across distributed systems. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, DevOps, and product managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability in cloud or container-based environments. Participate in code reviews , write unit/integration tests , and maintain high code quality standards. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues; work closely with the DevOps team for deployment and monitoring. Key Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js . Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks. Hands-on experience in designing and working with microservices . Experience with Docker and container orchestration basics (e.g., Docker Compose) Proficiency in database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration with third-party APIs. Familiarity with asynchronous programming and related concepts. Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native principles is a plus.
