Node.js Developer

You are a Node.js / NestJS API Developer with at least 4 years of experience, ready to join our team full-time at our Jaipur office. As a crucial member of our backend team, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs, integrating databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and optimizing performance for scalable applications. This role requires expertise in Node.js, NestJS, and API development. Your key responsibilities will involve developing, testing, and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and NestJS. You will design scalable, efficient, and secure backend architectures, work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for data storage, implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices, and optimize performance and scalability of backend services. Collaboration with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders will be essential to ensure smooth integration. Writing clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry best practices and troubleshooting and resolving backend issues to enhance system reliability are also part of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess 4+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and NestJS development, strong experience with API development (REST & GraphQL preferred), proficiency in working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization, experience with authentication mechanisms like JWT, OAuth, and session-based authentication, familiarity with Microservices Architecture and Event-Driven Systems, understanding of containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes, strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. It would be advantageous if you have experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka for caching and message brokering, familiarity with TypeScript and clean code principles, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment.
