Node.js developer

As a skilled Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend applications using Node.js. Your primary tasks will include designing and implementing RESTful APIs, working with various databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, and optimizing application performance to ensure scalability. Collaboration with frontend developers, designers, and product managers will be essential to deliver efficient solutions. You must have 1-5 years of experience in Node.js development and a strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or similar is required. Experience with databases and API development, particularly RESTful APIs & GraphQL, is crucial. Knowledge of authentication & security protocols such as JWT, OAuth, Passport.js, and version control systems like Git, GitHub, or GitLab is necessary. Additionally, you should possess strong problem-solving and debugging skills, along with experience in unit & integration testing using tools like Jest, Mocha, Chai. An understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello is preferred. Exposure to cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is considered advantageous. While not mandatory, experience with Microservices Architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines, and WebSockets would be beneficial. A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
