Job Description

As a National Instruments TestStand Professional with 4+ years of experience, you will be an integral part of our dynamic engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain automated test systems using National Instruments TestStand software. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, design test sequences, and troubleshoot test systems will be a key aspect of your role. Your contributions will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our testing processes, making this opportunity ideal for someone passionate about test automation and thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, develop test strategies, designing and implementing automated test systems using National Instruments TestStand software, executing test sequences and plans for various products, debugging and troubleshooting test systems, analyzing test data, integrating test systems with other equipment, conducting system validation activities, documenting test system designs, and staying updated with industry trends in test automation technologies. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to team members, adhere to project schedules, and deliver high-quality results within defined timelines. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, strong proficiency in National Instruments TestStand software, proven experience in developing automated test systems, in-depth knowledge of test automation principles and methodologies, familiarity with LabVIEW programming, experience in hardware and software integration, proficiency in scripting languages like Python or VBScript, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include National Instruments Certified TestStand Developer certification, experience with software configuration management tools, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
