Job Description

As a National Instruments TestStand Professional with 4+ years of experience, your role will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining automated test systems using National Instruments TestStand software. You will be an integral part of the engineering team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, design test sequences, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of testing processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and develop test strategies. - Design, develop, and implement automated test systems using National Instruments TestStand software. - Develop and execute test sequences, test plans, and test cases for various products. - Debug and troubleshoot test systems, identifying and resolving hardware and software issues. - Analyze test data to identify areas for improvement and optimization. - Integrate test systems with other equipment and systems, collaborating with hardware and software engineers. - Conduct system validation and verification activities to ensure reliability and accuracy. - Document test system designs, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines. - Stay updated with industry trends in test automation technologies. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Adhere to project schedules and deliver high-quality results within defined timelines. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Strong proficiency in National Instruments TestStand software. - Proven experience in developing and implementing automated test systems using TestStand. - In-depth knowledge of test automation principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Familiarity with LabVIEW programming is highly desirable. - Experience in hardware and software integration, including instrument control and data acquisition. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, VBScript, or similar. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret test data. - Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. - Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. If you hold a National Instruments Certified TestStand Developer certification, have experience with software configuration management tools, and are familiar with Agile development methodologies, it would be considered as a plus.,
