Next.js Website Designer & Developer

As a talented and motivated Next.js Website Designer & Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining websites using Next.js, as well as developing small web applications as needed. Your strong understanding of web development technologies, design principles, and passion for delivering visually stunning and highly functional user experiences will be key in this role. **Responsibilities:** - **Website Development:** - Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance websites using Next.js. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement modern, user-friendly designs. - Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and SEO. - Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js. - **Web Application Development:** - Develop small-scale, interactive web applications as required by the team or clients. - Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems. - Implement features like forms, dynamic content, and APIs for web applications. - **Maintenance & Troubleshooting:** - Perform regular maintenance and updates for existing websites and applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to front-end functionality, performance, and security. - **Collaboration:** - Work closely with the design and product teams to ensure the website and applications meet business requirements. - Contribute to code reviews and team knowledge sharing sessions. **Qualifications:** - **Technical Skills:** - Strong experience with Next.js, React, and modern front-end technologies. - Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). - Experience with CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap) and preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS). - Solid understanding of API integration (RESTful and GraphQL). - Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, React Context). - Familiarity with version control tools, primarily Git. - **Design & User Experience:** - Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). - Ability to translate design mockups into functional, responsive websites. - Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. - **Additional Skills:** - Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques. - Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG). - Familiarity with Node.js and back-end technologies is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Preferred:** - Experience in developing small web applications or progressive web apps (PWAs). - Familiarity with Web Performance Optimization (Core Web Vitals). **Education & Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - 2+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on Next.js and front-end technologies. - Proven experience in building and maintaining responsive websites and web applications.,
